Biography

Amy Fernow, D.O., joined the UAB Department of Surgery in September 2024. She obtained her medical degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Mount Carmel Health. Fernow also completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Indiana University.

She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
