The purpose of the Feed Me Study is to examine the naturally occurring bacteria in the gut of women and the impact these bacteria may have on weight loss. We are looking for women who are non-Hispanic black or non-Hispanic white. Generally healthy ages 19-65 and currently overweight. Participation involves eating study-provided meals only for 4 weeks, completing questionnaires, basic body measurements, and providing stool and blood samples. Meals provided at no cost to the participant and additional compensation is available. Contact the Feed Me Study at 205-934-1715 to learn more.
