University Professor Henry Panion III, Ph.D., has been appointed by Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley to serve on the State Council on the Arts. Panion, who teaches multimedia production, orchestration and arranging, is director of the Music Technology program. His term will begin Jan. 1, 2016, and expire Dec. 31, 2021.
