Faculty who teach courses that fulfill general-education requirements can apply for the two-year Signature Core Faculty Fellows program, which provides professional development funding for teacher-development programs, teaching conferences, course observations and more in order to increase teaching effectiveness and student success.
Fellows will work with a cohort of designated instructors from multiple disciplines to incorporate innovative teaching practices into core classes and learn the value of core courses to a college student’s educational experience, how to incorporate community-based learning activities to enrich instruction and effective methods for the assessment of teaching and learning.
