Tomorrow's bonfire has been cancelled
Due to the recent weather conditions and lack of rain, Jefferson County has issued a Burn Ban. Student Involvement and Leadership has been in communication with Occupational Health & Safety and the Birmingham City Fire Marshall and has been told that they will not be permitted to host the annual bonfire.

Student Nurses’ Association wins Outstanding Student Organization at UAB’s Student Excellence Awards
The Student Excellence Awards honors UAB students and student organizations for their outstanding contributions to campus life in leadership and service. There are currently 256 registered student organizations on campus. This year, 112 nominations were submitted for the 15 award categories.
