Knowing what classes to register for can be a stressful and confusing experience for many students. The Graduation Planning System (GPS) is a feature within Blazernet that provides undergraduate students with a simple and clear overlook of their academic plan towards graduation. It displays the classes that need to be passed, the academic standing and the amount of credit hours the student is required to have in order to graduate. It is a tool that helps students navigate and plan their academic journey at UAB. -
Miss UAB gives exceptional performance in the 2017 Miss Alabama Pageant
Miss UAB took home a $1,500 scholarship and a talent award for her exceptional performance in the 2017 Miss Alabama Pageant. 48 contestants competed for the title from June 7-10 at Samford University’s Wright Center, including six contestants who were current or former students of UAB. -

Miss UAB competes for Miss Alabama crown
It’s time to cheer on Miss UAB! Harley Chapin, the current Miss UAB, will compete in the 2017 Miss Alabama Pageant June 7-10 at the Wright Center at Samford University. The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. each night. All students, faculty, staff and friends of UAB are invited to support as she vies for the crown. -
