UAB Panhellenic Council 2024 Primary Panhellenic Recruitment

August 20-24, 2024

 

The College Panhellenic Council at the University of Alabama at Birmingham will host its Primary Recruitment process prior to the start of the Fall 2024 semester (August 20-24, 2024). Any student wishing to participate in primary recruitment must complete the registration application prior to the deadline. This year’s deadline is August 11, 2024.

Panhellenic Preview Day information

UAB Panhellenic will host Preview Day on Sunday, July 28. This is an opportunity for students and parents to learn more about the Panhellenic recruitment process, ask questions, and get to know both active sorority women and Recruitment Counselors who will help walk them through the entire recruitment process. Primary Recruitment Overview:

  • The registration application will open on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 and close on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
  • There is a registration fee of $55 that will cover any costs associated with the recruitment process. This fee should be paid at the time of registration. Any student who submits a registration application but does not pay the registration fee by August 11th will not be permitted to participate in recruitment.
  • A detailed schedule for recruitment will be posted on our website and emailed to all participants at the beginning of August.

Information about early move-in:

Women participating in Panhellenic recruitment and living on campus will be allowed to move into their residence hall early. Move-in will take place Tuesday, August 20 between 9am and 1pm. There is no need to sign up for a specific time to move in. Recruitment Convocation will take place in the Hill Student Center that evening. For questions regarding your room assignment, please contact Student Housing and Residence Life.
