Each clinic team at 1917 has a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) who provides medical nutrition therapy. They create individualized nutrition programs based on client’s needs and counsel them on how to improve their health through nutrition. Prior to a regular 1917 clinic appointment, the team RDN screens each individual‘s medical record for standardized criteria to identify those who are at nutrition related health risk. At the appointment, the RDN meets with the client to assess, educate, and collaborate to improve their identified risk. The RDN continues to meet with those individuals at subsequent clinic appointments to reassess and provide additional assistance until the nutrition related health risk is resolved.
If you are a clinic client and have a nutrition related health concern, contact your RDN directly or let a member of your clinic team know.
