A representative from LinkedIn Learning will be on campus Nov. 6-7 to host a series of introductory workshops for UAB employees. LinkedIn Learning, the award-winning industry leader in online training, offers courses on topics such as communication, team-building, leadership, career development, photography, music, interpersonal skills and more.UAB transitioned from Lynda.com to LinkedIn Learning earlier this year.
The scheduled workshops will demonstrate ways LinkedIn Learning’s mobile app and bite-sized videos can help employees improve their skills and achieve success. Two general sessions open to all employees will feature a Q&A session with UAB’s LinkedIn Learning representative, Elma Clarke, plus a examine ways in which LinkedIn Learning can make your LinkedIn profile shine. Specialized sessions also will be offered for employees in human relations, health care and information technology plus managers and faculty.
