UAB is excited to welcome activist Bree Newsome on Monday, Feb. 26 as part of the official kickoff for the Spring 2018 Lecture Series. The event will take place in the Hill Student Center Ballrooms CD. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., followed by Newsome’s lecture and a Q&A session with the audience. -

UAB commencement, doctoral hooding ceremonies set for Dec. 16
More than 1,500 students will graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham this fall, and an estimated 700 are expected to walk in the commencement ceremony set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Bartow Arena. -
