Joomla category blogs are designed to display articles from a specific category. It's also possible to display articles from a specific category and limited to specific tag or tags.

There are two blog options when creating a menu in Joomla:

Category Blog

The default Joomla category blog with no customizations.

UAB Category Blog

A customized version of a category blog that allows you to more easily create common layouts such as people directories and news pages.
