Patient-Centered Communication Styles Program is designed to improve patient experience and engagement by promoting efficancy, decreasing conflict and stress around communication, enhancing shared medical decision-making, and building minfullness and patient-clinician connection.

Focus of the PCCS

- Understanding DISC Behavioral Styles
- Developing self-awareness of communication strengths and developmenth opportunities
- Learning how to read the style of patients and their families
- Adapting approach to form connection and make better medical decisions together

How Will This Be Accomplished

- Online LEARN system to understand the DISC methodology
- Personalized DISC Behavioral Styles assessment report 
- "DISC at the bedside" tool to identify patient style and adapt to their emotions and needs
- Customized clinical scenarios to practice and expand on a new PCCS approach
- Sharing of best practices and discussioin of personal challenges

Program Format and Pricing

- Pre-work, personal assessment, and online LEARN completion
- One full day of in-person training or two half-days of virtual trainings
