Flying

Birmingham International Airport (BHM) is about a 15 minute car ride from the symposium location.

The Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is about a 2.5 hour drive away. There are shuttle services to Birmingham.

Transportation in Birmingham

Complementary shuttle services to and from the airport will be provided by the Hilton Hotel. Call the front desk to order the shuttle: (205) 933-9000.

Driving

From I-20 westbound

• From I-20 westbound, merge onto US-31 South/U.S. 280 Elton B Stephens Expressway (Exit 126A).
• Exit onto 8th Avenue South/University Boulevard.
• Turn right onto University Boulevard.

From I-65 Southbound

• Take the 4th Avenue South Exit (this is a one-way street headed East).
• Stay on 4th Avenue South until you come to the 20th Street South Intersection.
• Take a right onto 20th Street South.
• The Hilton Hotel is the building on your left after you cross University Boulevard. Parking at the hotel is available at $15 per day.

From I-65 Northbound

• Take the University Blvd. Exit (Also 8th Avenue South).
• Take University Boulevard to 20th Street South.
• Take a right onto 20th St. S.
• The Hilton Hotel is the first building on your right. Parking at the hotel is available at $15 per day.

Parking

Parking is available at the UAB Public Parking Deck on 14^th Street, right next to the conference venue.

Fees:

• 0-1 hour: $3.00
• Each additional hour: $1.00
• 11 hours or more: $13.00 (Resets after 24 hours)
