Before joining the UAB Graduate program in 2019, I graduated from Fisk University with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and a minor in computer Science.

Currently, I’m working with Dr. Catledge, studying high entropy diborides synthesized by microwave generated plasma. The experience has been invaluable so far — fine tuning my research and analytical skills. The program grants me numerous opportunities to present my work at conferences and I credit the access to a variety of equipment as key to my future development as an industrial scientist.
