A Uniform Guidance report is prepared in accordance with the audit requirements of Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Prior to the issuance of Uniform Guidance, an A133 was required to be prepared in accordance with the audit requirements of OMB A-133. Any entity that exceeds $750,000 or more of federal awards in a year is required by law to undertake an Uniform Guidance audit ($500,000 for A-133).
