Overview: The Radiation Safety Program (RSP) is intricately involved in the radiological assessment, treatment, survey and release of patients who undergo any one of a very wide range of radio-therapeutic procedures here at UAB.

The RSP will serve as first responders, along with the UAB Environmental Health & Safety Support Facility Hazmat personnel, to mitigate any emergency that may arise involving our patients undergoing radio-therapy.
