The Oracle HR Administrative System includes the following HR applications:

Users of the system have access to a limited set of web pages, forms, functions, data and reports that are defined by specific HR responsibilities.
Listed below are the HR responsibilities along with an example of how the responsibility displays on the individuals' personal homepage. Included is a brief overview of the responsibility and which transactional form/s available. Instructional documentation has been developed to assist individuals having access to a specific HR responsibility; simply click on the responsibility name or a specific transactional form.

Transactional Forms and Functionality
Gives users the ability to:- view and update personnel data (ACT Form)
- view/update/reprocess timesheet hours and may allow pay period cost distributions changes (TEL Form — see UAB TEL section for more information)
- view and retroactively redistribute previously posted salary/benefit dollars (see Salary Reclass User for more information)
- run the Payroll Information Extract (PIE)

Transactional Forms and Functionality
The UAB Salary Reclass responsibility gives users the ability to retroactively redistribute previously posted salary/benefit dollars for an employee, or fellowship dollars for a trainee, who is affiliated with that end user's organizational unit or who has any assignment in that organizational unit.

Responsibility: UAB TEL
- Gives non-exempt employees using the Campus TIme & Attendance System, TAMs, or Design Build the ability to view the biweekly TEL document
- Gives non-exempt employees not using Campus Time & Attendance, TAMS, or Design Build the ability to view, update, and reprocess the biweekly TEL document (TEL Form)
Transactional Forms and Functionality
The TEL document is utilized by the University to process the biweekly payroll for non-exempt employees.
For non-exempt employees with an additional assignment (non-primary), the UAB TEL responsibility gives the ability to record time worked on the non-primary assignment and cost labor distributions on the biweekly TEL document. It also gives the employee the ability to reprocess TEL documents for a previous biweekly pay period.
For non-exempt employees who are required to report time using the Campus TIme & Attendance System, TAMS, or Design Build, the UAB TEL responsibility restricts the biweekly TEL document to view only.

- Gives users the ability to view and reprocess the biweekly timesheet hours and may allow updates to the cost distributions on the biweekly employees TEL document
- Access to the TEL form restricts according to the assigned organizational unit(s) (see UAB TEL drop-down)
